Human Worth are proud to present the stunning new album 'Sunless' from London-based noise two-piece Warren Schoenbright, with a portion of proceeds donated to charity.
The eight tracks chart a blistering course through different circles of misery, abjection and darkness. Alighieri’s Inferno is the armature around which this new record has been sculpted with glimpses of horror plucked straight from Dante and Virgil’s descent. Schoenbright are preoccupied with using the classical trope of a descent into the Underworld to explore how transformative and redemptive navigating the melancholic and horrifying depths of one’s mind can be.
Forged in the fires of hell and recorded at London’s Holy Mountain Studios by Stan Gravett, Warren Schoenbright’s sound was fine tuned to shimmer and shriek by Misha Hering at Hollow Earth, with Frédéric Alstadt adding the mastering final touch. This thunderous offering would certainly be playing in the express elevator to hell.
Human Worth have pressed up a super limited edition of 'Sunless' Black Vinyl housed in a gorgeous package designed by Alex Virji with a double-sided insert featuring the photography of Daniel Keys. 10% of all sales proceeds will be donated to charity Arts Emergency – a mentoring charity and support network, helping young people flourish in higher education and the cultural industries.
